現代人習慣燈火通明的夜，鮮少機會接觸無光害的星空，電燈的發明照亮城市，卻也帶來了光害。為了讓大眾意識到人造光源對生態的影響，國際間有了復育黑夜的計畫，想還給自然更純淨的暗空；觀星團體也紛紛開團，藉由體驗黑夜，讓更多人認識大自然將燈熄掉後，星空原始的浩瀚。
